Flipster lets you checkout and download magazines from the library for free.

• Magazines cover a variety of interests - science, news, lifestyle, family & kids.
• Checkout period for most magazines is 7 days.  A few premium titles check out for only 2 days.
• Issues may be checked out more than once.
• Back issues are also available.
• Flipster may be used on a personal computer or by installing the Flipster app on your cell phone or tablet.

 Get the Flipster App

• Download and install the app from your app store.  

  • Google Play (Android)

  • iOS App Store

• Tap the box that says "Get Started".

• Tap Allow if you the app to use your location to suggest libraries near you. Otherwise, tap Deny to find your library by name, postal code (72764), city, or state. 

• Select Springdale Public Library and enter your library card number.

• Tap "Login".

How to Use the Flipster app

• Use the Explore option in the lower left corner to scroll thru titles and select magazines or use the search icon  to type in the title or subject you want.

• Tap on a magazine cover to choose between the current issue or back issues.

• Tap on the download icon to immediately download the current issue.

• The menu icon in the upper left corner has both sorting options and a list of categories to help you find titles.

• When you download multiple magazines use My Shelf at the bottom center of the screen to select one for reading.

• If you leave a magazine before you finish reading Flipster keeps your place.  Use the Read icon in the lower right corner to resume. Opening a magazine from the My Shelf icon will also pick up where you left off.

• To see the previous issues just tap the magazine cover from the Explore screen and scroll down to a list of past issues.
